Sarah's Wall
The mural along the Ohde Hometown Pharmacy wall is a tribute to Chetek. It features a 13' pelican which is the second largest in the US! Sarah had never been to Chetek before, thus had done research into our town. She found the native name, meaning Pelican as well as the chain of lakes particularly inspiring. She wanted it to be poppy and bold, inspired by many of the ice cream flavors featured in town.

About the Artist
Sarah Hill is from Reedsburg, WI. She grew up in the Wisconsin countryside and has always love the outdoors, thinking it's like a giant artistic palette. She's been painting for over 30 years, having taught middle school art classes for 11 years. She enjoys fast competition painting as well as large murals, focusing on realism or impressionism. She's a huge fan of color theory and light values and prides herself in her ability to mix colors.
